Discrimination incidents including harassment
Measurement answer
What this metric measures
Count and status profile of distinct work-related discrimination incidents, including harassment where applicable, under the stated formal-registration, reporting or substantiation basis.

Reporting boundary
Current ESRS uses incidents reported in the period and keeps other complaints separate. GRI 406 uses formal legal actions, registered complaints or non-compliance identified through established procedures. The adopted-pending ESRS uses substantiated incidents. Sum only disjoint populations or regions after case-level deduplication. Status rows are views of the same incidents and are not additional incidents.

Evidence and status sources
Sustopedia checked each record-specific claim directly against primary publisher material. Labels distinguish current measurement authority from future compatibility and corroborative, legal, edition, or method status context. Corroborative evidence can support a stated limitation but cannot establish the core measurement by itself.

Record-specific limitations
- Incident counts reflect awareness, channels, trust, definitions and case handling.
- A low count can reflect under-reporting.
- Allegations, registered cases, substantiated cases and verified cases are different states.
- The record does not establish legal liability or measure prevalence.
Interpret this metric with the stated reporting boundary, period convention, value shape, and unit. Results prepared with different boundaries or conventions may not be directly comparable.
Measurement evidence supports the core record-specific claims described above. Corroborative evidence can support limitations, while compatibility and status sources provide their separately labelled context. None of these cards by itself determines an organisation's legal applicability, filing readiness, assurance status, or compliance conclusion.
