Source-edition basis: Effective GRI 101: Biodiversity 2024 and binding ESRS E4-5 under Regulation (EU) 2023/2772 consolidated 1 January 2025.

  • Name site, affected-area polygon, ecosystem type and classification, and fixed assessment area.
  • State baseline year and condition, latest observation date and condition, and reference condition separately.
  • State method and version, score scale, valid range, direction, data type, assumptions, and uncertainty.
  • If area is shown, state hectares of the named ecosystem, where 1 hectare equals 10,000 square metres.
  • State monitoring frequency, data source, and whether observations are primary, secondary, or modeled.

Record-specific limitations

  • Observed condition change can reflect many actors and is not automatic attribution to the reporting organization.
  • Baseline and reference condition are distinct, and modeled or infrequent observations can mask action effectiveness.
  • Scores from different methods, scales, directions, or ecosystem types are not interchangeable or additive.
