Gross land-use-change emissions within the applicable organizational or value-chain boundary; this tCO2e result is separate from the land-conversion area metric and later land-management removals. The narrow forest-subcategory exception is retained for natural-forest clearance or severe degradation and natural-forest replacement by plantation forest or tree crops.
