Reporting boundary

A general materials profile covers eligible recycled input allocated to packaging. The PPWR profile covers eligible post-consumer plastic in the plastic part of a named packaging type and format for one manufacturing plant and year. Observed values and future legal thresholds remain separate.

Source-edition basis: Applicable Regulation (EU) 2025/40 Article 7, binding ESRS E5-4, and publisher-current GRI 301: Materials 2016; adopted-pending designed recyclability remains a separate property.

  • State general recycled-packaging-input or PPWR post-consumer-plastic profile, governing source, edition, observed-or-threshold state, and year.
  • Name packaging unit, component, material, polymer, type, format, exception state, origin, plant, and collection or recycling jurisdiction.
  • State eligible recycled-input mass and the compatible denominator mass in kilograms or metric tonnes with the same physical basis.
  • Label the percentage as parts per hundred of the exact profile-specific denominator; aggregate compatible masses before recalculating.
  • Keep observed values, legal thresholds, pre-consumer and post-consumer material, plants, years, formats, and method profiles separate.

Record-specific limitations

  • The general recycled-input and PPWR post-consumer-plastic profiles use different eligible populations and cannot be merged.
  • Recycled content does not establish recyclability, collection, packaging minimisation, environmental benefit, or legal compliance.
  • The PPWR Article 7 calculation and verification implementing method was not admitted at the promotion cutoff.
