Reporting boundary
Non-fuel renewable energy generated inside the organizational boundary and consumed by owned or controlled operations. Fuel-based generation and energy sold are excluded, and sold renewable attributes prevent a future-profile renewable-consumption claim.

- This metric is not total production, installed renewable capacity, gross generation or energy sold.
- Fuel-based cogeneration is excluded even when its fuel is renewable because its energy is recorded under fuel consumption.
- Sold energy and sold renewable attributes cannot be represented as own-operations renewable consumption.
- Self-generated consumption, production and sales remain separate and are not additive.
